Us Salam O Alikum and welcome to Pakistan’s first and only blog with gluten free niche. My name is Farheen and Heenie is what my family calls me, just like Bruce Wayne is aka Batman! I am 24/7 kinda mom of five amazing kids, three boys and two girls. A daughter of mine was diagnosed with celiac disease back in 2014 and it changed my whole perspective towards food.
I studied Nutrition and Experimental Foods in college. I work with new recipes all the time and would recommend only the very best… with a twist of my own may be.
The blog started as my online recipe book and I got such an amazing response and support from online blogging community that it encouraged me to dig deep. Initially I did many non gluten free recipes as well but later I decided to stick with gluten free only. Reason being our Pakistani gluten free audience need recipes that include locally available flours and such recipes should be relatable to our desi cuisine.
I am not a chef but I do have sound food knowledge and just like that I am no food photographer but I try to learn and improve. My old posts and photos are still dear to me as they remind me of the beginning.
